Mario Kart Wii Gecko Codes, Cheats, & Hacks

I have a request to help out my little guy playing Mario Kart Wii.

He is *ok* playing 50cc, he can place in the top 3 or 4 sometimes.
But he wants to use bikes, and that means he places 12th, makes him very sad.

Anyway, it'd be great if I had a way to simply limit the top speed of the CPU carts, but I don't see any codes out there that would do that to just CPU carts.

I see codes to stop the CPUs completely, but he wouldn't like that either.

Any ideas?

Modify the KartAiSpdParam.bin file inside Common.szs to cap the CPU's speed on each track.

Haha... next question, is there a guide on how to get this file, and further, how to make it active in my game?

I'm guessing it has something to do with Riivolution?

You can open SZS files with CTools SZS Explorer.

Good news, got everything modded and my little dude just got a gold metal in 100cc Mushroom Cup!

He's so happy.

Now I'm going to have to gradually make it more difficult as he gets older

And when he is a teenager you can make the difficulty be near impossible lol
